Renewable energy, sometimes even called green energy, refers to energy that can be used and obtained with minimal destruction to the natural world. The carbon released from the burning of wood is a natural part of the Earth’s carbon cycle. Trees can be planted to replace the ones that were consumed and they will absorb carbon from the air.
